Today we’re going to talk about the basics of training for a performance physique, some strength training tips, how to (and how NOT to) condition for health and results. Plus we’re going to get into a bit about what my experience of unplugging and going on a vacation (*gasp*, right?) for the first time in four years was like.
We’re also going to talk a bit about one of my big influences, who I was never fortunate enough to meet but always assumed I would, Chris Moore. Chris passed away a couple of days ago, at about the same age (36) as I am. He was a gift to the iron world not just for his knowledge of strength and conditioning, which was substantial, but more for his character and being able to communicate higher thinking and philosophy.
The world is a little less with him gone.
His art will live on, at least for now, at Barbell Buddha and Barbell Shrugged. Check them out.
